Let’s just be honest, Rudy Giuliani is not being a good friend to Donald Trump.
Last night, Rudy Giuliani appeared on FOX News’ “Hannity” and let his mouth write a check that Donald Trump’s hide can’t cash.
Ru-dy Giu-li-an-i took it upon himself to verify that Trump did indeed payback his lawyer, Michael Cohen, the $130,000 hush money that Cohen paid to porn star Stormy Daniels.
For their part, Cohen and Trump have danced around the issue. Cohen would always get the hush mouth about the hush money paid to Daniels whenever he was asked about it, and Trump would just simply tell folks that he didn’t know nothing about nothing and to ask his lawyer, Michael Cohen.
Recognizing that Giuliani had just shitted on the Thanksgiving turkey with that one, one of Trump’s lawyers got up this morning and wrote a tweet on Trump’s behalf.
The tweet read as follows, “Mr. Cohen, an attorney, received a monthly retainer, not from the campaign and having nothing to do with the campaign, from which he entered into, through reimbursement, a private contract between two parties, known as a non-disclosure agreement, or NOA. These agreements are very common among celebrities and people of wealth. In this case, it is in full force and effect and will be used in Arbitration for damages against Ms. Clifford (Daniels). The agreement was used to stop the false and extortionist accusations made by her about an affair.”
This, of course, doesn’t help because it’s still the issue of Cohen, as Giuliani verified on Hannity last night, getting his $130,000 money back that he took out on his house in order to pay Daniels hush money to hush her mouth about her alleged affair with Trump.
Inquiring minds want to know what then was Cohen’s monthly retainer for representing Trump? Was it $130,000 like they want us to believe?
Unfortunately for Trump and his crew, Giuliani has told everybody that the $130,000 wasn’t a monthly retainer fee but repayment for the hush money that Cohen paid Daniels.
So yeah, thanks to Guiuliani those campaign finance laws, bank fraud, and tax fraud are all being looked at now.
And before I forget, Giuliani also told Hannity that Trump did fire James Comey over the whole Russia thing; something which Special Counsel Robert Mueller is also looking into.
Yup, Giuliani has defiantly ensured that Trump is going to have a Twitter explosion this weekend.
